The Study Of Su Shi’s Ci Fu

As a quite outstanding writer in the Fu circles of Song Dynasty, Su Shi spent variousperiods of his life writing Ci Fu. His Ci Fu had a great creation and breakthrough inideological content and artistry and scored tremendous achievements. In the hope ofpromoting the research of Su Shi’s Ci Fu more and more comprehensively and thoroughly,this paper tries to grasp the correlative information and documentation about Su Shi’s Ci Fu,through the research from multiple perspectives including general survey, subject matter, artcharacteristic and philosophy of life.This article is composed of four parts. The first chapter displays the general survey of SuShi’s Ci Fu and tries to sort out the Su Shi’s Ci Fu and identify fake essay from the viewpointof document. The second chapter does some research about the subject matter of Su Shi’s CiFu so as to provide a slight help for the further study of Su Shi’s Ci Fu and understand hisaesthetic appeal and cultural character. The third chapter discusses the art characteristic of SuShi’s Ci Fu. Discussing respectively from three aspects: firstly, the self-emotional expressionwas blended with the rational thought; secondly, he made a contribution to the changes anddevelopment of the form of Ci Fu.Thirdly, its style in language was natural and austere. Thefourth chapter discusses the philosophy of life of Su Shi’s Ci Fu. Discussing respectively fromtwo aspects: one is trying to realize the reality of beyond, the other is trying to be a Retreaterin spirit.
