A Research On Rhyming In Poem Of Xie Zhen

The study on dialect phonetic is pretty rich throughout the ages of Shandong region.But the study on the rhymes of the poems in the Ming dynasty is relatively weak, especiallythe rhymes of the poems by a single poet. So this paper chooses the famous poet, poetrytheorist in the Ming dynasty—Xie Zhen(a person born in Linqing,Shandong) to be theresearch object, and studies his ancient style poetry and modern style poetry, to summarizethe features of the rhymes using.This paper chooses The Complete Works and Commentary by Xie Zhen annotated byMr. Li Qingli as the main linguistic data. Except for the first chapter——the introduction,the second chapter uses the rhyme-word-link method, and inductives the system of XieZhen’s poems’ rhyme class. The third chapter study the features of the tone,The fourtchapter compares the system of Xie Zhen’s poems’ rhyme class with The Pingshui Rhymeand The Zhongyuan Rhyme.and further analyzes the feature of the rhymes using. The fifth,sixth chapters respectively study the features of the tone, the special rhyme word and therhyme of different parts of poetry system. On this basis, the seventh chapter preliminarystudies the relationship between the system of Xie Zhen’s poems and the poetry theory.Through the links of the rhyme words of Xie Zhen, we can find that Xie Zhen’sancient style poetry can be divided into29categories, among them there are9Yin rhymes,13Yang rhymes and7Ru rhymes. His modern style poetry can be divided into28categories, among them there are13Yin rhymes,15Yang rhymes and no Ru rhymes.According to analysis of joined-rhyme and the special charm of the phenomenon of rhymeclass in the categories system of Xie Zhen’s poems, we can find that although hispoem-writing is influenced by Pingshui Rhyme, his poem system can still reflects thespeech sounds of that time to a certain extent.Through the contrast between the feature ofthe rhymes using and the poetry theory, we can find that Xie Zhen’s poetry theory isderived from the conclusion of the creative experience, and guides his creation meanwhile.In conclusion, studying Xie Zhen’s rhymes using can not only deepens the study on XieZhen further, but also glimpses some features of Linqing dialect, and provides some materials for the study on Linqing dialect’s diachronic evolution. Thus this paper hopes thatpeople can review Qianhouqizi（前後七子）to a certain extent and strengthen the study onthe rhymes of the poems in the Ming dynasty.
