The Research Of City Sites Of Han Dynasty In Wuan Area

Qin and Han dynasties are important historical periods of Chineseancient city sites. Han dynasty on the basis of the Qin dynasty, the authorhas carried on the further development. The formation of new3levels ofcity system includes the capital city, prefecture, and county.Wuan belong to Zhao in the Spring and Autumn period, During theWarring States period belong to Zhao, and Han dynasty to Wei County.Currently we found10ancient city ruins in Wuan.These ten sites are the objects of this article. First, this paperintroduces the basic situation of the ten sites. Next, it makesarchaeological research for these sites, including the shape, the wall andthe distribution of the rule, and so on. Finally, the article introducesHandan city circle in Han dynasty, and the importance of Wuan sites inthis city circle.
