On the basic of former studies, this study attempt to search the learning power form and its developing features on elementary and secondary school students by questionnaire survey and interviews, fond an valid Measuring Instrument. Offer the ways and advices for elementary and secondary school students to improve the level of their learning power, in order to supply a base for further empirical study, lead the social concern on elementary and secondary school students’learning power widely.The study researches on1200students from5Shenyang’s schools. The results indicate:Ⅰ. The questionnaire with good reliability and validity is made of36items. we can take it as an assessment tool of learning power;Ⅱ. Learning power is make up of learning motivation, learning willpower, learning ability, learning conversion and learning creativity;Ⅲ. Learning power and its factors have significant differences on age. There is a fast development at7years old, gentle after that, there is a fast descend at12and13years old.Ⅳ. Learning power and its factors have significant differences on grade, the development of learning power is gentle, there is a fast descend at seven and eight grade.Ⅴ. The total learning power has a significant difference on gender. The scores of boys is significant higher than the girls’, it mainly because the scores of girls is significant higher than the boys’on learning motivation and learning ability. There is no difference between girls and boys on learning willpower, learning conversion and learning creativity.
