Parent-child poetry in "Song poetry" is especially written to their sons or daughters or to show the relationship between parents and children.The content of the poem mainly focuses on their daily life.Due to the different education background in Song Dynasty,father became the dominant character in the parenting poem,and there are a lot of topics about sons. Therefore,the parenting poem shows the characteristic of men’s domination,which also shows men’s discourse advantage in ancient culture.Parent-child poetry is a part of "Song poetry",which is based on the writing object and conte.Thus the study of the parent-child poetry is from an entirely new perspective.Different from past poetry and poets in Song dynasty studying the poet’s social status and the literature status,parent-child poetry is focused on the poet’s family identity, and to analyze the natural affection and family relationships from the angle of family life.The description of the content of parent-child poetry mainly focuses on two aspects.The first is the gather of daily life and family activities,such as travel, and celebration of festival,and so on.The emotion showed in parent-child poetry is very rich,which is also closely related to family life.Such as.the joy of children’s birth;the delightfulness of children’s healthy growth;the happiness and harmony of unite of father and son; the missing of separation of father and son; enough trails of children’s young death.The value and emotion of life expressed in the song poetry formed the moving lyrical characteristics.The second is children’s education,which is the continuous and deepening of parent-child emotion.lt mainly refers to the education of family trait,which includes the requirement of children’s personality accomplishment and the efforts of shaping children’s excellent personality,and the development and admiration of children’s literature ability. Between the both, the parent-child poem emphasized the inheritance of father and son and the building of the family distinguishing features.which show the characteristic of teachers.What’s more? We can also see some social conditions at that time through the parent-child poetry,such as,the custom of children’s birth,the communication of family and folk festival activities.The richness of the content formed another characteristic of parent-child poetry:the narrative elements.Narration is to better express the poet’s feelings and ideas, and is consistent with lyrical.The parent-child poetry also has its unique value.Their occurrence,in addition to,greatly develops the content of the song poetry,and it also has the value of education and sociology.The educational way showed in parent-child poems,such as the realistic teaching,or using example to teach children,is fitted with development of child body and mind regulation in the modern education sense.In addition,the parent-child poetry is beneficial material storage of family life and the sociology research in Song dynasty family relationship.In short,the parent-child poem in Song poetry has its indelible value.At the same time,we should understand its limits of reflection of the things.After all.it only reflects the situation of intellectual family,while it rarely involves the parent-child relationship of the lower ordinary people.
