The Feature Of Figure In Torrent Trilogy By Ba Jin

The research about rhetoric since the ancient times not interrupted. Both Aristotle’s "rhetoric" and "The Origin of Rhetoric " of Chen Wangdao were described and analyzed thesystem of rhetoric. For the study of rhetoric, an important aspect of the rhetorical study is therhetoric on the systematic analysis of a case, and then gets some rhetoric rules, in order toreflect the application of the principles of rhetoric besides all the people for the theory of therhetorical ontology. The study of rhetoric figures is always the most extensive and veryimportant aspect in speech research. Furthermore, Metaphor which is the most widely used asone of the figures of speech has been one of the most popular rhetorical research.Consequently, this article, starting from the simile and metaphor, focusd on the static study ofsimile and metaphor and based on Torrent Trilogy of Ba Jin, researches and analyzes theparables rhetoric use in Torrent Trilogy, and analyze the rhetorical characteristics.Ba Jin is a modern writer, who is known as one of the most influential writers since theMay Fourth New Culture Movement, at the same time is also the20th century Chineseoutstanding literature masters and the master of the contemporary Chinese literary. And theTorrent Trilogy which composed of The Family、Spring and Autumn, is the highest and mostinfluence works in Ba Jin. The Family is the highest artistic achievement, not only is the treefirst monument on the road of Ba Jin’s literature, also known as one of the most outstandingrealism masterpiece in Chinese modern history of literature. The author on the basis ofprevious rhetoric and the research about Ba Jin, select Ba Jin’s "Torrent Trilogy " as the objectof study, and analyze the metaphor and the characteristics of it in this case using theknowledge of figures of speech. This article mainly starts from the the ontology andmetaphors of parable and analyzes the components in the parable of the use andcharacteristics of the works. In addition, from the context on the relationship, this article fromstatic research continue to dynamic research, and pay attention to the influence of context.
