Zhang Hua， a brilliant man of wide learning, was an important figure in the Western JinDynasty literary world. He had not only great achievements in literature but also noblecharacter and high prestige in political. Through the study of unique style of his poetry, thisarticle has further exploration of Zhang Hua complex thought and similarities and differencesof other scholars mentalities in the Western Jin Dynasty to understand his literary qualityand style and make relatively objective evaluation of his literary status and there for providecertain help for the research of Zhang Hua poetry value, literary thought, political status,literary position. The fourth part mainly discusses the impact of Zhang Hua’s poetry style andliterary perspectives on later scholars. Zhang Hua is the successor of Han Wei literature andpioneer of colorful style in the Western Jin Dynasty. His viewpoint on literature has a greatinfluence in literary development and an important position in Chinese literary history.
