As we know,people will suffer injuries in conventional determination of blood glucose concentration,and the determination is a little complicated and takes time.It’s not convenient for daily use.We develop a new non-invasive technique for blood glucose measurement by using FTIR spectrometer. The determination basis for this technique from the physiological point of view are also discussed based on the experimental results, which indicated that the glucose measured by the FT-Mid-IR-ATR instrument are from the secretions on the skin and glucose components within the body. The secreted glucose components will increase as the time increasing. The dried blood has the similar spectra with fingers’. The fingers’ spectra will exhibit higher sensitivity if the time of measurement is longer after washing hand,the results showed that when measured 10 minutes after washing hand,the sensitivity will be high. All the results can be used in promoting a convenient, rapid and non-invasive way to monitor the continuous variation of blood glucose concentration of diabetes patients in real time.Along with the increased use of IR,we find some defects which limit the application range of IR.For example,it’s hard for using IR to detect mixture whose IR absorption bands will be multifarious and supermposed.So,it’s important to combine IR with other techniques,such as TLC.TLC is good at separating mixture,when happen to mixture,septrate it first by TLC before IR detection,then it will gain uncontemplated effects.Traditionary sorbents as the immobile phase of chromatoplates have strong IR absorption,so we need to seek a substance that has no Mid-IR absorption in this paper,nano particles of BaF2 are proposed. After protracted and unremitting reasch,we come to the optimum conclusion as follows:we will gain BaF2 nanocrystalline powders by reacting Ba(OH)2 with HF,and the particle size is little than 500nm.The BaF2 chromatoplates is prepared by depositing BaF2 suspension on placodes.
