Objective This study through the observation of the serum levels of Growth diff-erentiation factor-15(GDF-15) in Coronary heart disease(CHD) patients,then disc-uss the correlation between the serum levels of GDF-15 and the severity of Coronary artery lesions in CHD patients.Methods Choose from 2014-12-01 to 2015-12-30 in north China university of sc-ience and technology affiliated hospital of cardiology by CAG diagnosis of 150 cases of CHD patients;Work in the same period by the CAG diagnosed with nonCHD as a control group of 30 cases of patients.According to the CHD patients with coronary artery lesions counts divided into single lesion group, double branc-h lesion group, three lesion group;According to the clinical type of CHD patients divided into ACS group,the SAP group.Collected the general data.The severity of coronary artery lesion was assessed by Gensini score, grading method with ELISA on serum GDF-15 concentration.Using SPSS17.0 software package for data stati-stics processing.Results 1. Between CHD group and control group, there were no statistically significant difference of the general information(P>0.05).2. The serum level of GD F-15 in CHD group was 100.435±38.112 ng/L, the control group was 39.754±7.309 ng/L, the differences has statistically significant(P<0.01).3. The level of GDF-15 in the CHD patients with the SBP(r=0.695, P<0.01), the TC(r=0.282, P<0.01),the LDL-C(r=0.412, P<0.01)) were positively correlated; And HDL-C(r=0.204, P =0.012) showed a negative correlation, And GDF-15 was affect by the age, wh ether there is a history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, smoking history.4.The ser-um levels of GDF-15 in the ACS group w-as113.817 ng/L±35.441 ng/L,SAP group was 78.60 ng/L 3±31.917 ng/L,the differences has statistically significant(P<0.01);GDF-15 for the ACS diagnosis feature of the area under the ROC curve is 0.786,5. The serum levels of GDF-15 of three branch lesions in patients with CHD groupwas128.929 ng/L±30.552 ng/L,double branch lesion group was99.636±25.140 ng/L, single branch lesion group was 65.018±22.194 ng/L, the difference has stat-istically significant(P<0.01).6. The serum level of GDF-15 in CHD group was positively related with Gensini score(r=0.873, P<0.01), and linear regression anal-ysis showed that serum level of GDF-15 in CHD patients with Gensini score has a linear relationship.Conclusion 1.The serum level of GDF-15 in CHD group is higher than in contr-ol group,the serum level of GDF-15 and the severity of coronary artery lesion w-as positively related in CHD patients and they has a linear relationship. 2.The s-erum level of GDF-15 was related to the clinical type and coronary artery lesion-s counts, GDF-15 specific for the diagnosis of patients with ACS. 3.The Serum level of GDF-15 levels in patients with CHD were positively correlated with sys-tolic blood pressure,TC,LDL-C.And negatively correlated with HDL-C,and it related to age, high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia and smoking.
