Objective To analyze the clinical significance of thromboelastography detection in patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods A total of 152 cases of liver cirrhosis were selected from June 2014 to November 2015 in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, 36 cases of them appeared gastrointestinal hemorrhage, 50 cases of health persons with no hepatobiliary diseases, no blood system diseases, no history of cancer, and no history of anticoagulants taking were enrolled as contrast group. All the research subjects were separated into cirrhosis group and contrast group, the cirrhosis group was separated into hemorrhage group and non hemorrhage group according to whether the cases with gastrointestinal hemorrhage. All of the research subjects were extracted the peripheral venous blood 2ml, 3ml, 3ml in the state of limosis in the morning, then detected the routine coagulation tests, thromboelastography and the routine blood respectively. All of the blood samples must be detected within 2 hours. The data were analyzed between the cirrhosis group and contrast group, the hemorrhage group and non hemorrhage group, detecting whether these indexes had significant statistical differences. And the ROC curve was used to assess the risk of cirrhosis gastrointestinal hemorrhage specificity and sensitivity by comparising the thromboelastography parameters, the routine coagulation tests indexes and the platelet counts.Result(1)With the increase of Child-Pugh classification of liver function, the R and K of TEG parameters gradually increased, the α and MA gradually became smaller.(2)Compared with the non hemorrhage group, the MA, CI, PLT, and FIB in the hemorrhage group were significantly different(P <0.05), and other indicators had no statistical difference.(3)By comparing the areas under the ROC curve, α, MA, PLT, and FIB were more than 0.5; among them, the area under the ROC curve of α was the largest(> 0.7).Conclusion Thromboelastography(TEG) can be used to reflect the coagulation function in patients with liver cirrhosis, and it has a certain predictive value for assessing the risk of gastrointestinal hemorrhage in patients with liver cirrhosis, but the predictive value is limited.
