Objective:To analyse the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of lower respiratory tract infection with mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP) antibody positive in children, and provide the reference for diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of MP infection. Methods:The clinical data of lower respiratory tract infection with MP antibody positive with 83 cases were analysed by retrospectively,Serologic diagnosis for MP infection was made based on single titers≥1:160,which was measured by a passive particle agglutination test.to summarize that the hospitalized children of MP infection had relationship with the species of lower respiratory tract infections diseases, patient’s age, gender, season, clinical symptoms and state of diseases, and to summarize the feature of imaging data and laboratory results of lower respiratory tract infection with MP antibody positive in children.Results:1.The ratio of bronchial pneumonia, bronchial asthma with pneumonia, bronchiolitis with antibody positive were 71.08%,20.49%,1.2%,respectively. 2.The MP infection positive rate has no relationship with sex.The ratio of male children, female children with MP antibody positive were 54.22%,45.78%, respectively. The ratio of MP antibody positive was not significantly different between male and female children(Chi-square was 1.175,P=0.280).3.The The ratio of MP antibody positive in infants group(less than one year old),in young children group,in more than three years old group were 19.28%,34.94%,45.78%,respectively.The ratio of MP antibody positive in more than one year old group was 80.72%.4.The MP infection positive rate is related to season. The ratio of MP antibody positive was 22.89% in January to March, 14.46% in April to June, 18.07% in July to September, 44.58% in October to December respectively. The MP infection in October and December was frequent.5.Age had relationship with state of diseases, clinical symptoms and laboratory results: Rate of infants suffered from wheezing were higher than older children(73.33% vs 47.37%),the difference was statistical significance(Chi-square was 6.157,P=0.015).It is elevatory when the levels of the count of white blood cells is greater than 10×109/L. The proportion of infants(aged between 0 and 3 years) suffered from the rise of the count of white blood cells was 55.56%(25/45),which of older children(more than three years old) was 23.68%(9/38).compared with rise in the proportion of the count of white blood cells of two groups children,The difference was statistically significant different(chi-square was 9.482,P<0.01).children with severe mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(SMPP) were 12 cases, there were 7 case of infants(58.33%) and 5 cases of older children(41.67%).The proportion of children with SMPP suffered from extra pulmonary complications(vomiting and diarrhea, headache, hemoptysis and so on) were higher than children with mild mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(50% vs 19.15%),the difference was statistical significance(Chi-square was 5.047,P=0.029). Our hospital think it is elevatory when the levels of CK-MB is greater than 24U/L,children with SMPP were 9 cases(9/12),children with mild mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia were 24 cases(24/47),The proportion of children with SMPP suffered from the rise of CK-MB were higher than children with mild mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(75% vs 51.06%), the difference was statistical significance(Chi-square was 4.383,P=0.042);It is elevatory when the level of LDH is equal or greater than 410U/L,children with SMPP were 5 cases(5/12), children with mild mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia were 4 cases(4/47),The proportion of children with SMPP suffered from the rise of LDH were higher than children with mild mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(41.67% vs 8.51%),The difference was statistically significant different(Chi-square was 7.977,P=0.005).7.The main imaging feature was double pneumonia in the data, the proportion was 50.79%.Conclusion:1.The infection positive rate of MP was 10.32%(83/804) in lower respiratory tract infection children of the data, the main species of lower respiratory tract infections caused by MP was bronchial pneumonia,The proportion was 71.08%.2.MP infection was frequent in children over 1 years among hospitalized lower respiratory tract infection patients, the positive rate of MP infection was related to season,It had a high incidence in October to December.3.Compared with older children, infants developed wheezing more probablely,Infants suffered from the rise of WBC and CK-MB was more apparent, while the older children suffered from the rise of CRP was more apparent Compared with infants.suffered from extra pulmonary complications, the rise of CK-MB and LDH,Children with severe pneumonia were more apparent than children with mild pneumonia.4.When LDH has significantly increased(equal or greater than 410U/L),which has certain guiding significance for the treatment and judgment for state of diseases of lower respiratory tract infection with MP antibody positive in children.
