The thesis mainly reported chemical constituents on two medicinal plants Uncaria yunnanensis and U. scandens. Totally 26 compounds were isolated from the two plants and their structive were elucidated by various spectral.U. yunnanensis and U. Scandens belong to Uncaria genus of Rubiaceae family. The leaves and stems of U. yunnanensis and U. scandens were collected in Xishuangbanna Yunnan provinces. From the aerial parts of U. yunnanensis, 7 alkaloids were isolated and their structive were elucidated by various spectral(mainly 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR) to be as β-yohimbine(1), yohimbine(2),(-)-tetrahydroalstonine(3), tetrahydroalstonine(4), pteropodic acid(5), ajmalicine(6) and uncarine E(7). All alkaloids were isolated from the plant for the first time.From the aerial parts of U. Scandens, 19 compounds were isolated and were elucidated by various spectral to be as 3β-hydroxy-30-norlupan-20-one(8), lupeol(9), dihydromasticadienolic acid(10), β-sitosterol(11), cycloeucalenol(12), 5, 6α-epoxy-5α-stigmastan-3β-ol(13), ursolic acid(14), quinovic acid(15), 3β, 6β, 24-trihydroxyolean-12-en-27-oic acid(16), naringenin(17), bonducellin(18), scopoletin(19), isoscopoletin(20), gallic acid(21), vanilic acid methyl ester(22), 2, 6-dihydroxy-3, 4-dimethylbenzoic acid methyl ester(23), 3, 4-dihydroxy benzoic acid(24), 3, 4-dimethoxy methyl benzoate(25), and 3-methoxy-4-hydroxy benzoic acid(26). Compounds 8-10, 12, 13, and 15-26 were isolated from the genus for the first time.At last, progress on chemical constituents and pharmacological studies on the genus of Uncaria were summarized. |
