Diabetes And Pre-diabetesscreening And Diabetesrisk Factors Analysis In Yao Population

Background: According to a survey of the prevalence of diabetes in 31 provinces of China in 2010, the prevalence of diabetes in China has reached 92 million 400 thousand. Diabetes has a very complex pathogenesis, not only related to environmental factors, but also related to genetic factors, is currently not yet to be tackled one of the world’s medical problems. The incidence of diabetes is different in different countries, regions and ethnic groups in the world. Because of the difference of the lifestyle and customs of the ethnic minorities in our country, there is a great difference in the prevalence of diabetes. Liannan Yao Autonomous County is located in the remote mountainous areas, Liannan Yao on diabetes screening and risk factors analysis of the related research has not been reported.Objective:(1) research and analysis, Liannan Yao Autonomous County, 18 years old of above of Yao nationality and the Han population in the epidemic of diabetes and pre diabetes pathogenesis characteristics similarities and differences.(2) observation and analysis of uric acid, total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein(HDL), systolic blood pressure, body mass index(BMI), waist to hip ratio on the analysis of the correlation between diabetes and pre diabetes, Liannan Yao and Han nation over.Methods: Stratified cluster random sampling method was employed in this study, randomly selected, Liannan Yao Autonomous County of the two to Yao settlement in the township, in selected villages and towns were randomly selected three Yao Cun as samples. In 18 years old and above, Liannan Yao rural residents as the research object, the of clinical data acquisition, questionnairesurvey and related blood biochemical examination, including uric acid, total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein.Results:(1) Liannan Yao diabetes prevalence and pre diabetes prevalence rates were 13.44%, 6.45%.(2) dyslipidemia, total cholesterol, heart rate, body mass index(BMI), gender, age, overweight or obese in normal blood glucose group, pre diabetes group and diabetes group, group and group difference, the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3) diabetes univariate results analysis showed that sex, overweight or obesity, dyslipidemia, waist circumference and waist to hip ratio was statistically significant(P < 0.05), and multi factor analysis of the results of blood lipid abnormal statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).Conclusion:(1) Liannan Yao adult diabetes crude prevalence rate was 13.44%, higher than that of Han nationality.
