The relationship among EEG characteristics and brain function information, brain diseases is an important topic of study on brain function. The research on brain function is one of the topics at the leading edge of scientific research. The best research method is a dynamic observation under vital condition. Existing research methods are mainly confined to invasive electronic stimulating test relying on embedded electrodes, local tissue damage and in-vitro brain tissue perfusion, patch clamp, expressions of nerve activity factor. Evoked Potential is an important method for brain function or cognitive research. It refers to study brain function through specific stimulation to the brain, such as electrical stimulation, light stimulation, magnetic stimulation, and so on.According to ultrasonic focusing characteristics, we have achieved an ultrasound induced EEG acquisition and analysis system based on deep-brain-targeted manipulator, which could be used as a tool to study brain function, and the relationship with brain diseases.Ultrasound has characteristics such as high spatial resolution, high transmission ability and so on. By using concave spherical focused ultrasound transducer with single vibration source, phased array focused transducer, ultrasonic transducer with acoustic lens or other ways, ultrasound could be focused on an exact point, where ultrasonic energy achieves maximum. Ultrasound has extensive biological effects, such as thermal effects, cavitation effects, mechanical effects, physical and chemical effects. And all of the effects have been widely used. With the development of research on biological effects of ultrasound, the research scope is expanding from the biological tissue damage to cellular or molecular biological effect and brain effect as well. For example, ultrasound could promote to open the blood-brain barrier. Relevant researches show that Ultrasound can promote the gene to get into the cell membrane in a particular situation, and play its role through the blood-brain barrier. It could also evoke electrical activity in the brain cells and cause a change in EEG affairs.This article is introduced from three important parts, which separately are ultrasound scanning and analysis system, ultrasound stereotaxic manipulator system, EEG collection and analysis system. Transcranial features of the ultrasound transducer has also been explored in the paper.The ultrasound induced EEG acquisition and analysis system based on deep-brain-targeted manipulator is of great value, as it could be used to study ultrasonic brain effect or brain function exploration.
