Objective: In order to explore the significance and difference of HIF-2α and BNP in Plateau and Plain patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, to clarify the relationship between the HIF-2α, BNP and the pulmonary artery pressure in three subjects, the basis for clinical prevention, monitoring and treatment of disease. Methods:Choose 30 cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in the plateau region(Qinghai Hainanzhou) as a case group(Plateau group), 30 cases in plain area(Xi’an) as a control group(Plain group); enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was applied to detect the serum level of HIF-2α content of both groups. Immunofluorescence assay was applied to detect the serum level of BNP content of both groups. At the same time, pulmonary function,blood gas analysis,pulmonary artery systolic pressure(PASP) were also checked,statistical analysis of the detected data. Results:(1)BNP levels and PASP in Plateau group were higher than those in Plain group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);(2)HIF-2α serum levels in Plateau group were higher than those in Plain group,but the difference was no statistically significant(P>0.05); There was also no significant difference in FEV1%pred and FEV1/FVC between the two groups(P>0.05).(3)The serum of HIF-2α levels of the patients in two groups were positively correlated with BNP、PASP(P> 0.05)),and negatively correlated with PO2, SaO2, MMEF(P<0.05), and no correlation with FEV1%pred and FEV1/FVC(P>0.05)(4)The serum of BNP in the two groups were positively correlated with PASP, and negatively correlated with PaO2、SO2、MMEF(P<0.05), and no correlation with FEV1%pred、FEV1/FVC(P>0.05). Conclusions: 1.HIF-2αand BNP may be involved in the pathophysiology of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pulmonary hypertension.2. BNP, HIF-2α has a certain correlation with pulmonary hypertension in chronic hypoxia. 3. With no significant difference in pulmonary function, pulmonary artery systolic pressure was significantly higher than that in the plain, suggesting that the special environment of plateau has a certain effect on the progression of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease...
