Objective To detect the mean platelet volume(MPV), Platelet-large cell ratio(P-LCR) and neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)of the patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS) in Xi Ning area and investigate the relationship between MPV,P-LCR,NLR and ACS.Methods Select 84 patients who underwent acute coronary syndrome from the Department of Cardiology of Qinghai People’s Hospital from December 2014 to May 2015, including 31 cases with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI group),24 cases with non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI group) and 29 cases with unstable angina(UA group). The control group contains 84 cases of healthy physical examination. Phlebotomize all the cases admitted to the test and determine the mean platelet volume(MPV),Platelet-large cell ratio(P-LCR), neutrophil(N), lymphocyte(L), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and calculate neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR).Compare and analyze the differences between STEMI group, NSTEMI group, UA group and the control group and the differences of the former three subunits. Results 1.There are significant differences between STEMI group, NSTEMI group, UA group and control group on MPV,P-LCR,NLR and hs-CRP(P<0.05).2.There are significant differences between STEMI group, NSTEMI group and UA group on NLR and hs-CRP(P<0.05) but no significant differences on MPV and P-LCR(P>0.05).3.MPV and P-LCR are strongly correlated(r=0.922,P<0.01) while NLR and hs-CRP are highly correlated(r=0.718,P<0.01)Conclusions 1.The levels of MPV, P-LCR, NLR in ACS group are higher than those in the control group. It indicates that these indicators are closely related with ACS and can provide a reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of ACS.2.There were no significant differences among the three subunits on MPV and P-LCR.3. NLR is highly correlated with hs-CRP and the STEMI group is higher than the NSTEMI group on NLR while the NSTEMI group is higher than that in the UA group. There are significant differences among the three subunits, which suggesting that this indicator is closely related to the severity of ACS.
