| Objective: The thyroid carcinomas is the fastest rising solid tumors,this study is to analysis the expression of Ki67 and BRAFV600E protein in thyroid carcinoma by immunohistochemistry and explore the relationship between the protein expression and their clinical pathological features of thyroid cancers,in turn,provide the basis for the diagnosis for the thyroid carcinoma.Methods:(1)Collected in January 2013 to June 2015 by histology and immunohistochemical diagnosis of thyroid cancer patients 110 cases which has not been with preoperative adjuvant chemotherapy and endocrine therapy or radiotherapy,Collected at the same time the clinical pathological data. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS(version 17.0) statistical software package. Qualitative data were analyzed using chi-square test.Results:(1)Among the 110 cases of thyroid carcinomas,the percent of positive expression of Ki67 is39.1%,and the anaplastic thyroid cancer is the most,however in the papillary thyroid carcinoma has a high expression of BRAF,the positive expression of BRAF is 56.4% in 110 cases,both Ki67 and BRAF expression in 20 cases of normal tissue adjacent to carcinoma are negative.(2)BRAF positive expression rate is 73.75% among papillary thyroid cancer,but expression of PTMC is lower than those of PTC,the expression of BRAF and Ki67 associated with tumor capsular invasion 〠lymph node metastasis and different TNM staging.(P<0.05)(3)42 cases of multifocal papillary thyroid cancer,accounting for52.5%,the expression of BRAF only with lymph node metastasis have significant statistical difference,while the expression of Ki67 with related factors such as the number of cancers 〠capsular invasion are statistically significant.However,there is one case that owned two lesions but the expression of both BRAF and Ki67 is not same.(4)There was statistical difference between Ki67 positive expression and BRAF protein expression(r=0.234,P<0.05).Conclusions: The expression of BRAF and Ki67 protein has value on identification of benign and malignant thyroid tissue;Ki67 will be help for determinate of malignant degree of thyroid carcinoma;high expression of Ki67,BRAF protein could provide reference materials for the diagnosis of thyroid papillary carcinoma and prognosis judgement. |
