Comprasion And Analysis Between Endoscopy And Laparoscopy In Resection Of Gastic Stomal Tumors Originated From The Muscularis Propria

Objective: To analyze and compare the safety and feasibility of endoscopy and laparoscopy in resection of gastic stomal tumor originated from the muscularis propria.Methods: Of the 55 gastirc stomal tumors originated from the muscularis propria,20 were treated by endoscopic mico-traumatic surgery and 35 by laparoscopic surgery.To evaluate the superiority and infefriority of the two methods by comparing the operating time,complete resection rate,hospitalization time,recovery of bowel function,incidence of complications,recurrence rate.Results: Compared with the laparoscopic group,the endoscopicgroup required shorter hospitalization time [6.6±2.0(3~10) d vs 9.1±2.7(6~19)d P<0.05],the operating time,complete resection rate,recovery of bowel function,incidence of complications,recurrence rate showed no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusion : Gastric stromal tumors originated from the muscularis propria can be completely resected by endoscopy without the assistance of laparoscopy if the tumors conform with certain conditions,furthermore the patients recover faster with less-injury.Therefore endoscopy can be regard as a alternative to surgy and laparoscopy to some extent.Meanwhile the two methods still have limitations each other,endoscopy combied laparoscopy is likely to be a new norm in the future.
