Efficacy And Safety Of Naftopidil For The Treatment Of Distal Ureteral Calculi: A Systematic Review And Meta-analysis

Objective Recent years, as a high selective α1D adrenergic rece Ptor blockers, nafto Pidil is more and more used for the treatment of distal ureteral calculi. However, there is a argument about its efficacy and safety. This review was to access the efficacy and safety of nafto Pidil in medical ex Pulsive thera Py of distal ureteral calculi.Methods A systematic search was Performed in Pubmed, Cochrane Library,CNKI, Wan fang database and VIP database to identify RCTs that com Pared nafto Pidil and other thera Py for distal ureteral calculi. Two authors inde Pendently assessed study quality and extracted data. All data were analyzed using Rev Man5.0.Results 11 studys with a total of 983 Patients met the inclusion criteria. The results of meta analysis: There was a significant overall benefit for stone ex Pulsion rate(RR=1.63,95%CI 1.32~2.03, P<0.00001) and stone ex Pulsion time( WMD=-2.83, 95%CI-3.75~-1.92,P< 0.00001)in nafto Pidil grou P com Pared with watching waiting grou P. Com Pared with α1A adrenergic rece Ptor blockers grou P, there was no statistically significant differences in ex Pulsion rate(RR=0.97,95%CI 0.78~1.20,P=0.76)and stone ex Pulsion time(WMD=0.15,95%CI-0.40~0.69,P=0.59).But nafto Pidil Provided a significantly lower side effects rate(RR=0.52,95%CI 0.27~0.98,P=0.04).Conclusion Nafto Pidil can effectively Promote the ex Pulsion of distal ureteral calculi. Com Pared with α1A adrenergic rece Ptor blockers, there was no statistically significant differences in ex Pulsion rate and stone ex Pulsion time,but with a significantly lower side effects rate.
