Objective:To analyze the etiology of recurrent spontaneous abortion and the influence of various causes of abortion gestational age and abortion times and provide evidences for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:Data of 203 patients who were diagnosed as recurrent spontaneous abortion from January 2014 to August 2015 at the first affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University were collected and the etiology of recurrent spontaneous abortion was analyzed, which included the patients’ age, occupational exposure, abortion times, pregnent age of every abortion, the evidence of all the causes which included genetic factors, immune factors, female anatomy and so on. Divided the causes into the group of early abortion and the other group of late abortion according to the age of abortion. Divided the causes into two groups according to abortion times(2 times and ≥3 times).Analyze the influence of various causes of abortion gestational age and abortion times. Deal with the data. Results:1. Through study of the age of 203 patients, patients’ age were between 20 to 43 years old, the mean of 203 patients were(29.80±4.82) years old. The minimal abortion times are 2 times and the large are 5 times.2. The etiology of 203 cases of recurrent spontaneous abortion showed that the chromosomal abnormalities 16 cases(7.88%), cryptorrhea 50 cases(24.63%), dysimmunity 46 cases(22.66%), female anatomy 22 cases(10.84%), placental blood supply 6 cases(2.96%) and unknown causes 98 cases(48.28%).3. The single cause 75 cases(36.95%), multi-cause 30 cases(14.78%).4. There is no significant difference between the number of abortions in the cause by chi-square test(P>0.05).5. There are significant difference between the abortion age in chromosomal abnormalities and the female anatomy by chi-square test(P<0.05). Conclusion:1. Recurrent spontaneous abortion can appear in any age of the childbearing women, in this paper the mean of 203 patients were(29.80±4.82) years old.2. The etiology of 203 cases of recurrent spontaneous abortion showed that the chromosomal abnormalities 16 cases(7.88%), cryptorrhea 50 cases(24.63%), dysimmunity 46 cases(22.66%), female anatomy 22 cases(10.84%), placental blood supply 6 cases(2.96%) and unknown causes 98 cases(48.28%).3. The influence of chromosomal abnormalities in early abortion is significant than late abortion; the influence of female anatomy in late abortion is significant than early abortion.4. The etiology of the unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion is about 50%, so the more study should be done with it.
