Objective:To compare laparoscopic hepatectomy and open hepatectomy difference in the treatment of the left intrahepatic bile duct stones in operative time, blood loss, postoperative biliary leakage, infection and recurrence rate, and analysis the relevant literature data by META analysis. Methods:Search English database: pubmed, Chinese databases: Wan Fang Datebase,CNKI,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBMdisc),VIP Chinese scientific and technical journals database,Chinese doctoral thesis database.A time limit :January 1, 2000 to January 1,2016. We use the latest Rev Man5.3 software and odds ratio(OR) and weighted mean difference(WMD) and select the 95% confidence interval for META analysis.Lastly we draw forest plot and funnel plot for each group. Results:The 18 reports(1688 cases) are selected lastly.Among them, the English 7(802cases),Chinese 11(886 cases), 875 cases are operated by laparoscopic surgery, And 813 cases by laparotomy. In terms of blood loss and postoperative infection, statistics P <0.05,it shows the difference that has statistically significant, but in time to carry out surgery, postoperative complications, and the recurrence rate of stones and gender composition, statistics P> 0.05, the difference has not statistically significant. Conclusion:Laparoscopic group has a significant advantage in terms of blood loss and postoperative infection, and in operative time, there was no significant difference in postoperative complications, recurrence of stones and gender composition.
