Objective:To compare the clinical efficacy between De Vega annuloplasty and tricuspid ring annuloplasty in the treatment of functional tricuspid regurgitation(FTR) regarding postoperative early- and medium-term complication rate and recurrence rate, providing reference for tricuspid valvuloplasty. Methods:From January 2012 to October 2015, 43 patients with FTR admitted to the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Shanxi Provincial People’s Hospital were enrolled in the retrospective analysis. Patients were divided into De Vega annuloplasty group(underwent De Vega annuloplasty treatment, n = 29) and tricuspid ring annuloplasty group(underwent tricuspid ring annuloplasty treatment, n = 14) according to surgical treatment. Right atrium transverse diameter(RAD), right ventricular internal diameter(RVID) and tricuspid regurgitation degree were compared between the De Vega annuloplasty group and the tricuspid ring annuloplasty group before and after surgery. Results:The postoperative RAD, RVD and tricuspid regurgitation degree were effectively improved in both the De Vega annuloplasty group and the tricuspid ring annuloplasty group, but patients in the tricuspid ring annuloplasty group was better than those in the De Vega annuloplasty group concerning long-term improvements(all P < 0.05).Conclusion:De Vega annuloplasty and tricuspid ring annuloplasty were considered as effective surgical treatments for FTR characterized by significantly improved RAD, RVID and tricuspid regurgitation degree, and the tricuspid ring annuloplasty was better than the De Vega annuloplasty concerning long-term improvements, indicating that tricuspid ring annuloplasty was worthy of clinical promotion.
