The Opportunity Of Laparoscopy Appendectomy For The Treatment Of Periappendiceal Abscess

Objective:The purpose of the paper is to discuss the period of laparoscopic interval appendectomy with periappendiceal abscess,and evaluate the therapeutic efficacy and prognosis of laparoscopic interval appendectomy in different interval. Methods:The paper is a retrospective study about collecting the patients with periappendiceal abscess who were treated by the same surgical group in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from 2012 to 2015, and all the cases treated by laparoscopic operation after conservative treatment. According to the different operation interval period were divided into two groups, and the statistical analysis was made on the operation time, intraoperative hemorrhage, intraoperative pus drainage, the percentage of conversion to laparotomy, postoperative extubation time, postoperative incision infection, residual abscess, adhesive intestinal obstruction, average hospitalization time. Results:The experimental group with the control group in the operation time, intraoperative pus drainage and hospitalization time showed no statistical significance(P > 0.05), the control group at the time of extubation and the 3d drainage volume of postoperation were lower than those of the experimental group, the difference is statistical significance(P < 0.05), while the amount of bleeding of the experimental group was obviously higher than that of the control group, the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05); however, the two groups in the proportion of conversion to laparotomy, adhesive intestinal obstruction, infection of incision and residual abscess, index of occurrence rate differences had no statistical significance(P > 0.05). Conclusion:There was no significant difference in the therapeutic effect and prognosis between laparoscopic appendectomy in different interval after successful conservative treatment.
