Objective: This experiment aims at using PL-11 platelet analyzer and arachidonic acid(AA) 、diphosphate adenosine(ADP)、collagen(Col), epinephrine(EP) four agonists, testing the maximum platelet aggregation rate(PAGm) in patients with acute cerebral infarction before and after taking antiplatelet drugs, discuss the clinical significance of the study and guide the use of antiplatelet agents.Methods: 51 patients with acute cerebral infarction and 48 cases without acute cerebral infarction of control group were randomly divided into aspirin group and clopidogrel group. Platelet maximum aggregation rates under the different inducing agonists AA、ADP、Col、EP’ effects were measured by Platelet detector PL-11 on the first day(before receiving anti-platelet therapies)、3±1d 、5±2d in acute cerebral infarction group; platelet maximum aggregation rates were measured on the first day and 5±2d in control group.Results: 1.Before given antiplatelet therapy, the PAGm in cerebral infarction group induced by four agonists was higher than the control group(p<0.05), it was statistically significant. 2.After treated with anti-platelet drugs, the PAGm induced by AA、ADP、Col、EP were inhibited by aspirin(P < 0.05),which had the greatest inhibition of platelet aggregation induced by AA; and the same effect to clopidogrel(P < 0.05),but the extents of the inhibition of the PAGm induced by ADP and Col were more significant; after taking antiplatelet drugs, the PAGm decreased induced by EP was not statistically significant compared 5±2d with 3±1d. 3. There was no significant difference in the degree of PAGm decline between the control group and the cerebral infarction group with taking the same antiplatelet drugs(p>0.05).Conclusions: The PAGm using PL-11 platelet analyzer was significantly increased in patients with acute ischemic stroke;the PAGm in induced by four agonists were obviously decreased after being treated with anti-platelet aggregation drugs,and the decrease degree was associated with different types of anti-platelet drugs; The PAGm reflects the states of platelet activation and aggregation, can evaluate platelet function in cerebral infarction patients and high risk group, also have guiding significance in the use of antiplatelet drugs.
