Objective: To Assess the affection of non cadmium rice cadmium pollution on human health,and to provide basis for the prevention and control of cadmium hazard in cadmium contamination area.Methods: Magu town, Hezhang County, Bijie City was selected as exposed area and Yaozhan town as control area. Soil and some crops were collected from two regions. The samples of blood and urine were collected from 174 residents in polluted area and 171 residents in control area. The questionnaire was done in all investigated residents. The contents of Serum creatinine(SCR),urine creatinine(UCr) and urine trace albumin(UALB),and the activity of urinary n-acetyl- beta- D- amino glucoside enzyme(NAG),And bone mineral density were detected. The relationships between these indexes were analyzed.Results: Compared with control area, the contents of BCd, UCd and UALB, and the contents of cadmium in soil, corn, chinese cabbage, potato and pickle were significantly increased, but BMD significantly decreased in female in polluted area(P<0.05 or 0.01). BCd was significantly negatively correlated with UNAG(r=0.24,P<0.01),significantly positively correlated with activity of UALB(r=0.17,P<0.01). UCd was significantly negatively correlated with BMD( r=-0.11, P < 0.05), but significantly positively correlated with activity of UNAG(r=0.50,P<0.01)Conclusion: The contents of cadmium in soil and main crops in Magu town are higher than that in Yaozhan town, belonging to the non cadmium rice type. The degree of cadmium contamination is enhanced by artisanal zinc-smelting. The renal and bone damages are resulted in by cadmium contamination. |
