Discuss the necessity of quality assurance on immobilization device.Introduces some immobilization device in radiation therapy, explains the structure characteristics and their application scope.For immobilization device, develop quality assurance of them, including inspection before use, routine detection and correction, standardized application, device management. Fomulate measurement and methods of measurement for immobilization devices.According to the quality assurance and testing method for immobilization devices for routine detection and correction, the acceptance and measurement found many potential factors affected the accuracy of radiotherapy, in a timely manner to eliminate these factors, to ensure the accuracy of the radiation beam position. Studied features and characteristics of immobilization device, that guided and standardized the clinical application.After more than two years of exploration and practice, it proved quality assurance of immobilization device is feasible and effective, that helped to improve the accuracy of radiotherapy.
