Objective:To explore the relationship between Chemokines CXCL9 and ype 2 diabetic retinopathy.Methods:80 cases were divided into patients of type 2 diabetes with diabetic retinopathy (group DR,26 cases), patients of type 2 diabetes with no diabetic retinopathy (group NDR,27 cases) and normal controls (group NGR, 27cases).The chemokines CXCL9 of all the cases were detected by double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Blood pressure, height, weight, fasting plasma glucose(FPG), total cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc), high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hsCRP) were determined in all subjects. Results; ①The chemokines CXCL9 levels in type 2 diabetes with diabetic retinopathy were significantly higher than in groups of NDR and NGR[(956.59±290.36) pg/ml vs(718.38±397.47)pg/ml, (579.29±328.45) pg/ml] (P<0.05).②A multivariate correlation analysis showed that chemok-ines CXCL9 level positively correlates with FPG((r=0.240, P<0.05)、 HbAlC(r=0.256, P<0.05) and hs-CRP(r=0.309, P<0.05).③Stepwise linear multiple regression revealed that hs-CRP (B=0.207, P<0.05) were the independent factors of chemokines CXCL9 level.Conclusion:CXCL9 might play a role in the pathophysiology of diabetic retinopathy. |
