| Objective Applicating G banding and C banding karyotype analysis technology to detect the chromosome from peripheral blood of couples with the history of spontaneous abortion. To discuss the relationship between spontaneous abortion and abortion couples chromosomes. Methods Collecting the information of the couples with the history of spontaneous abortion who came to General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University from Jan 1st 2004 to Dec 31 st 2014. Recording the gender, age, the time of occurrence of abortion and the frequency of abortion. Detecting the chromosome from peripheral blood of the patients using G-banding karyotype analysis and also C-banding karyotype analysis. Discussing the relationship between the spontaneous abortion and chromosome abnormality. Applicating SPSS17.0 to do statistical analysis and p<0.05 has statistical significance. Results 1. 1 784 couples, including 892 women aged from 19 to 48, 892 men aged from 20 to 56 years old; The times of spontaneous abortion from 1 to 6. 663 couples have experienced spontaneous abortion once. 869 couples have experienced spontaneous abortion twice. 252 couples have experienced 3 times and even more than 3 times of spontaneous abortion. 2. In 1 784 couples, we found 77 cases of abnormal karyotype, accounts for 2.16%(77/3 568) of all patient. With 49 cases of structural abnormalities and 28 cases of numerical abnormalities, accounting for 63.64%(49/77) and 36.36%(28/77) in the patients with abnormal kayryotype and accounting for 1.37%(49/3 568) and 0.78%(28/3 568) in all patients in the study. The differences are statistical significance(χ2=5.272,p<0.05).71 cases were found with Chromosome polymorphism, accounting for 1.99%(71/3 568) of all patients, among those who including 46 male and 25 female accounting for 1.29%(46/3 568) and 0.7%(25/3 568) of all the patient. There are 20 structural abnormalities, 8 numerical abnormalities and 46 Chromosome polymorphism among male, also 29 structural abnormalities, 20 numerical abnormalities and 25 Chromosome polymorphism among female The statistics showed that the difference of chromosome abnormality between male and female was significant.(χ2=9.51,p<0.05) 3. All 1 784 couples were divided into 3 groups according to the frequency of spontaneous abortion. In the group of the couple who had experienced spontaneous abortion once, 27 couples had chromosome abnormality, accounting for 4.07%(27/663). In the group of the couple who had experienced spontaneous abortion twice, 31 couples had chromosome abnormality, accounting for 3.57%(31/869). In the group of the couple who had experienced spontaneous abortion three times and more, 18 couples had chromosome abnormality, accounting for 7.14%(18/252). Statistical analysis was carried out on the chromosome abnormality rate between the three groups. Difference is not significant(χ2=0.252ã€3.639ã€5.922,p > 0.015).Conclusion 1. The chromosome abnormality is one of the important factors causing spontaneous abortion. 2. Among the patients with abnormal karyotype, structural abnormalities happened more common than numerical abnormalities. There are more structural chromosome abnormalities in female than male. 3. There are no significant difference between the varient frequency of spontaneous abortion in chromosome abnormality 4. The relationship between the chromosome polymorphisms and spontaneous abortion is not clear. In the study we found more male with the problem of chromosome polymorphism than female in the couple who had the history of spontaneous abortion. |
