Access to the database of all kinds of journals, newspapers, conference corpus, etc. From 2003 until the end of 2014. Each article retrieved, summarizes the classification. Screen contains ephedra compatibility treatment clinical literature. After screening, this paper finally obtain for statistical formula, a total of 780. Use of Excel software, according to the source of prescription, composition, usage, dosage, establishing database, frequency statistics, the use of ephedra effective information.Result The results showed that:with ephedra compatibility of a total of 366 kinds of Chinese medicine, the number of drug 9161 times. The types of drugs, in the order:tonifying qi of 12.17%(5.95%), licorice, 11.87% of cough and asthma medicine, medicine for the treatment of cold 11.67%, clean up very hot phlegm medicine is 5.79%, toxic hot 4.49% of medicine, warm cold medicine 4.28% of sputum, invigorate the circulation of medicine by 4.20%,4.16%, warm body medicine medicine for the treatment of flu by 4.05%,3.96% drug for the treatment of edema and so on. Modern doctors used dosage of 10 g of ephedra or 6 g, followed by 5 g and 3 g. That most physicians prescription of ephedra adult dosage below 15 g.
