Objective:Through studying the expression characteristics of pathogenic dampness degree in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), the count of intestinal bacterial flora and the relative serum gastrointestinal hormone content, this study explores the relevance between the pathogenic dampness expression of patients with IBS, the intestinal bacterial disturbance and the change of gastrointestinal hormone.Method:According to the latest international diagnostic standard for IBS, set up criteria for patients who will be excluded or included in the subject, select 50 patients with IBS who visited the gastroenterology department at the Suzhou TCM hospital from February 2015 to February 2016, and then ask every detail of their basic data, medical records, life habits and the data relating to the severity degree of pathogenic dampness. Among the 50 patients with IBS, there are 29 patients who agreed to reserve their fresh feces and draw their fasting blood. At the same time, set up the normal group:the members of the normal group came from those people who had normal indexes after the health examination at the health checkup center of the Suzhou TCM hospital, were without symptoms of IBS and agreed to join the research. Ask the members of the normal group about the general information and scoring data, and 13 members agreed to reserve their fresh feces and fasting blood. Feces samples were filmed by immediate smear and fasting blood were in cold storage after separating and extracting serum and they were unifiedly tested by Shanghai Reagent Company in March 2016. The tested five gastrointestinal hormones are SP, VIP,5-HT, PYY and GLP-2.Result:1. The research of 50 IBS cases and the research on the expression of the pathogenic dampness of 30 cases in normal group show that the pathogenic dampness degree of patients with IBS is obviously higher than that of the members of normal group(P<0.05). Among all the patients, the pathogenic dampness degree of patients with IBS-D is the heaviest and that of patients with IBS-C is the lightest(P<0.05).2. The research on the gastrointestinal hormones in fasting blood serum of 29 patients with IBS shows that the distribution of GLP-2 in type C is the most extensive and that in type D is the least (P<0.05)3. The research on the relevance between the pathogenic dampness degree and gastrointestinal hormones of 29 patients with IBS shows that pathogenic dampness has medium linear relation to fasting PYY (0.4≤R<0.6)4. The research of 28 patients with IBS and the research on the fresh and unpolluted faecal bacteria of 13 normal people show that the intestinal coccobacillus of the patients’group are obviously lower than that of the normal group (P<0.05).5. The research on the mood evaluation of 50 IBS cases shows that the patient’s anxiety degree has positive relativity to the severity degree of IBS syndromes (P<0.05)Conclusion:1.The pathogenic dampness is the important factor of leading to IBS and the IBS-D patients have the highest degree of pathogenic dampness.2.The content of fasting serum GLP-2 can distinguish the IBS subtypes better.3.The pathogenic dampness of the IBS-D patients are closely related to gut hormone abnor mal expression of PYY fasting serum. PYY may be related to objective index of the expression of the pathogenic dampness in IBS patients.4.The ratio of intestinal flora may be one of the methods to judge bacterial disturbance.5.The mood factor of anxiety will aggravate the severity degree of IBS syndromes.
