Obejective:This paper analyses 61 patients that pathologically diagnosed as pulmonary crypotococcosis, and summarizes the susceptible population, clinical manifestation, treatment and the prognosis of PC,aiming at providing suggestions and ideas of dealing with the diseaseMethods:Retrospective analysis method to analyze the characteristics in 61 PC cases of the patients’history, including clinical manifestation, the time from onset of symptoms to admission to the hospital, blood tests,CT images, the courses of antifungal drugs. Results:Of the 61 patients that pathologically diagnosed as PC(male 33,female 28,age from 18 to 78),the age from 40 to 60 were the most.42 patients were immunocompromised. The clinical symptoms consisted of cough (63.63%),chest pain(48.48%),dyspnea(15.15%), fever(12.56%), and hemoptysis(3.03%). Computed tomography (CT) findings in these patients with pulmonary cryptococcosis included nodules/masses, infiltrating type, mixed type and Isolated hollow.which located in in the right lung only(26), left lung only(21) and andbilateral(14).13 patients’blood routine showed the reduction of lymphocyte. Of 10 patients with cerebrospinal fluid examination, one was positive.Of 4 patients with Serum cryptococcal capsular antigen test, three were positive. The pathology included granulomatous inflammation(43), Lymphocyte dominated inflammation(5), granulomatous inflammation with Lymphocyte dominated inflammation(4), organized pneumonia(5), necrotizing pneumonia..37cases showed completed remission,14 cases showed partial remission,7cases were missed.3 cases were progressed and.nobody was died.Conclusions:1.The immunocompromised patients with PC are easy to show symptoms compared to the immunocompetent patients.2. The clinical manifestations and image fingings of patients with PC are lack of specificity, and PC is mainly diagonosed by pathology.3..For the patients whose CT images show the solitary pulmonary nodule/mass, patients with the surgery have the shorter course of treatment compared to the patients that use anti fungal drug only.4.When the CT image shows lymphadenopathy, pleural effusions, pulmonary cavity or the ground-glass opacities, we should think about PC.
