Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm (EPMN) is a type of low-grade malignancy caused by papillary proliferation of epithelia which product grump in pancreatic duct. It grows slowly with multiform clinical manifestations and certain imaging features. Complicated and disordered standards of naming and classifying, various examining methods, it needs different therapies and prognoses. Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm (IPMN) is a type of papillary mucinous epithelial tumor coming of main pancreatic duct or branch duct. Since Ohashi first reported in 1982, relational reports increase fast. So far 5 percent cases of pancreatic cystic tumor excision reported by the centers are diagnosed as IPMN. It has been called papillary adenoma, papillary neoplasms, mucinous papillary carcinoma, mucinous pancreatic ductal extension and tumor of mucous secretion. In 2000, it was named Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm (IPMN) formally by WHO. This article makes study on its clinical manifestation, pathological type, biological behavior, imaging features, diagnostic method, therapy, prognosis and other aspects. The details are as follows.
