| Objective:Through the retrospective analysis research of the correlative causes of type 2 diabetic ophthalmoplegia,we can guard against the disease occurrence so as to lower the onset risk. Methods:This study is a retrospective analysis, all patients are come from endocrinology division of Jining medical university affiliated hospital, during January 2010 and January 2015, collection for the confirmed patients with diabetic ophthalmoplegia as group of OMP(32 cases),randomly chosen at the same time admitted patients with type 2 diabetes(without ophthalmoplegia)as group of DM(32 cases),and then type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients(ophthalmoplegia) with type 2 diabetes peripheral neuropathy as group of DPN(32 cases).Gathering the general information(age gender),and clinical inforation(course of the disease, blood lipid, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood sugar and C peptide),then through statistical analysis, come to the conclusion. Results :(1)The mean of age, gender distribution, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c), TG, TC, and HDL-C were compared among the three groups, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);(2)Course comparison among the three groups, there was no significant difference between the DM group and the OMP group in the course of disease(P>0.05).The course of DPN group was significantly longer than that of OMP group, DM group, the difference was statistically significant(P=0.015, P=0.005);(3)Comparison ofblood lipids among the three groups, comparison of TG, TC and HDL-C mean, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).LDL-C mean in OMP group and DPN group were higher than DM group, the difference was statistically significant(P=0.019, P=0.000);(4)Comparison of blood glucose among the three groups,OMP group and DPN group were higher than the average fasting blood glucose DM group, the difference was statistically significant(P=0.020, P=0.018),Postprandial 2 hours blood glucose was also higher than the DM group, the difference was statistically significant(P=0.003,P=0.001).(5)Comparison among the three groups of C peptide,OMP group,DPN group of fasting C peptide were lower than the DM group, the difference was statistically significant(P=0.003, P=0.001). the value of postprandial 2h-C peptide in OMP group and DPNgroup were lower than that in DM group, the difference was statistically significant(P=0.000, P=0.000).Conclusions:This study found, elevated LDL-C and reduced postprandial2h-C peptide are risk factors for type 2 diabetic ophthalmoplegia occurs. On the basis of active control of blood glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes,to maintain the stability of lipid metabolism and improve the pancreatic function and then to improve the level of C peptide,is important to prevent the occurrence of ophthalmoplegia. |
