Objective In this study, the patients with Type two diabetes were divided into three groups, including control group(without CAD),the single coronary artery involved group, multivessel coronary artery involved group. We compared with changes of biochemical indicators, the femoral artery intima-media thickness(FAIMT),ankle arm index(ABI) in three groups, and explore the predictive value of FAIMT, ABI to the coronary artery disease. Methods 150 patients with two diabetes are divided into three groups, which are control group(without CAD),the single coronary artery involved group, multivessel coronary artery involved group.Analyse all patients’ clinical data, biochemical indicators,FAIMT,ABI,he occurrence of CAD and. Results HDL-C level is significantly lower in patients of control group than that of multivessel coronary artery involved group(P < 0.05),while other biochemical indicators are no statistical difference in the three groups. ABI and FAIMT values have significant difference(P < 0.01)between control group and single coronary artery involved group, control group and multivessel coronary artery involved group.Compare single coronary artery involved group with multivessel coronary artery involved group, only FAIMT has statistical difference(P < 0.01). Multiple factors regression analysis results show that the ABI(β= 0.626, P<0.05) and FAIMT value(β=1.309, P<0.01) are independent risk factors for CHD.ROC curve analysis point that FAIMT value is 0.875 mm which has the highest value to the diagnosis of CAD. The sensitivity and specific degrees respectively are 79% and 92%, the area under the curve(AUC)= 0.891,P<0.01; FAIMT value is 0.875 mm which has the highest value to the diagnosis of multivessel coronary artery involved group,AUC=0.818,P<0.01.The sensitivity and specific degrees respectively are 60% and 92%.ABI value is 0.99 which has the highest negative predictive value to the of CAD,AUC=0.789,P<0.01.The sensitivity and specific degrees are 76% and 72%.But ABI is almost no positive predictive value to the of CHD(AUC=0.211).Conclusion FAIMT of patients with CAD is hiagher than control group, and ABI is lower than the control group.FAIMT of multivessel coronary artery involved group is higher than the single coronary artery involved group.FAIMT can assess the degree of coronary artery disease. They are independent risk factors of CAD in the type two diabetes and have significant correlation with CAD.At the same time they have predictive value to the CAD.
