Objective:To explore the accuracy and practicability of Spinal pedicle screws fixation guided by Vision FD Vario 3DMethods:Choosing 206 patients who were treated with spinal pedicle screw fixation from January 2011 to October 2013 in our department as the research objects.According to different intraoperative fluoroscopy devices, the research objects are divided into control group and experimental group. The control group are 95 patients treated from January 2011 to May 2012 guided by ordinary C arm X-ray machine. Included 59 male patients and 36 female patients, age from 17 to 74, the mean age was 46 years, 8 cases of cervical vertebra, 12 case of thoracic vertebra and 75 cases of lumbar and sacral vertebra.The experimental group are 111 patients treated from June 2012 to October 2013 guided by Vision FD Vario 3D. Included 62 male patients and 49 female patients, age from 19 to 79, the mean age was 48 years, 11 cases of cervical vertebra, 5 cases of thoracic vertebra and 95 cases of lumbar and sacral vertebra.By analyzing the results of postoperative X-ray and CT,we can compare two groups of postoperative situation of pedicle screws, then take the data to statistical analysis.Results:Totally 916 pieces of the pedicle screws were implanted, 492 screws were implanted in the experimental group, the control group were 430, the length is 18 ~ 50 mm. In the experimental group, the location of pedicle screws is optimal position 43.7%, good 53.9% and poor 2.4%;In the control group, the location of pedicle screws is optimal position26.9%, good67.2% and poor 5.9%.193 patients were followed up, and 13 patients were lost to follow up. The reason that part of patients lost to follow up are contact failure and noncompliance check regularly. The patients were followed up for 6 to 24 months, at the average of 14 months. In the control group, there are 2 patients which screw position is poor in postoperative serious complications and lower limb functional recovery, there was no screw fracture and falls off both in the the experimental group and control group.Conclusion:The accuracy of Vision FD Vario 3D is higher than ordinary C arm X-ray machine in spinal pedicle screws fixation. Moreover, compare with other more advanced intraoperative fluoroscopy navigation device in clinic in recent years, Vision FD Vario 3D is not only the operation is simple, economical and practical, but also the learning curve is short than others. It suits to be used widely.
