Respiratory diseases with cough as the main symptom is a common and frequently occurring disease, such as cough, acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis and so on. In recent years, the emergence of fog and haze, making the incidence of the disease rose sharply. At present, antibiotics are still the main drugs for the treatment of respiratory diseases in western medicine, But with the drug resistance, and the incidence of adverse reactions also increased year by year. Cough medicine is mainly used for anti histamine HI receptor antagonist and central antitussive, But cough is easy to relapse after stopping the drug, but also often accompanied by drowsiness, and other side effects, so that the treatment of the disease has been greatly restricted. Because the traditional Chinese medicine with anti-inflammatory, antitussive, expectorant, immune regulation effect and low adverse reaction characteristics, traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of the disease shows great advantages, has become the main varieties of cough medicine market. Therefore, the development of traditional Chinese medicine with good curative effect and low side effect is particularly urgent. Ma Jing granule prescription was from clinical prescription, composed of Ephedra, Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch, Vitex oil, the prescription after clinical use for many years, the curative effect is remarkable.The purpose of this paper is to study the extraction process of the Ma Jing granule, Combine the advantages of the traditional Chinese medicine formula with the modern new dosage form and preparation technology, to develop a new drug with high efficiency, excellent price, safety and market prospect. This study is divided into the following three parts:In the first part, by orthogonal experimental design, with ephedrine and pseudoephedrine for determination of index, pharmacodynamic screening, ephedra is finally determined the optimum extraction process:Ephedra decocted with water for two times,1.5 hours each time, filtering the extracted liquid and concentration.Through orthogonal experiment, To investigate the content of baicalin, Liquiritin and glycyrrhizic acid, Finally, the extraction process of Licorice and Baical skullcap Root is adding 12 times of water, extracting 3 times, extracting for 2 hours for the first time, and then extracting for 1 hours. The filtrate is concentrated to 0.5g/mL. Add the 95% concentration of ethanol, stirring constantly, until the ethanol concentration of the extract reached 50%, and then precipitation for 24 hours.The final beta Vitex oil inclusion process for β-CD:Take the corresponding amount of beta cyclodextrin to add water, set the colloid mill grinding 5 minutes, Slowly add the corresponding proportion of Vitex oil and continue to grind 30 minutes.Finally, four medicinal extracts mixed and spray granulation.In the last part, the quality standard of Ma Jing granules is established. Th e results showed Ephedra, Baical skullcap Root, Glycyrrhiza uralensis in the for mula were identified qualitatively by TLC and the content of ephedrine,pseudoep hedrine,Baicalin and Glycyrrhizic acid was determined by HPLC. The establish c riteria are suitable for the quality control of Ma Jing granule.
