Objective This study aimed to establish an index system for Respiratory nurse specialist(RNS) which is comformed to the present situation of China’s respiratory nursing practice preliminarily, to analysis the weight coefficient of the level-1 and level-2 dimension.Methods The study established the Core Competence Framework Model and related concepts for Respiratory Nurse Specialist(RNS) by literature review and interviews with experts. To constructed Evaluation Index System of core competence for Respiratory Nurse Specialist by Delphi method; To analysis the weight coefficient of the level-1 and level-2 dimension by Analysis Hierarchy Process. The representativeness and credibility of the Delphi method were tested by the positive coefficient, authoritative coefficient, coordination coefficient and the concentration of expert advice.Results There are 19 experts take part in the consultation.The response rate of the two-round Delphi method was 100%;The authoritative coefficient of 0.875. The level-1 dimension’s coordination coefficient of 0.505, and the level-2 dimension’s of 0.412, chi-square test P < 0.05 for all. To constructed Evaluation Index System of Core Competence for Respiratory Nurse Specialist preliminarily. The evaluation index system includes 6 level-1 dimensions, 24 level-2 dimensions and 65 level-3 items. The level-1 are :professional ethics,clinical nursing practice,interpersonal skills,Management, professional development and critical thinking. To analysis the weight coefficient of the level-1 and level-2 dimension by Analysis Hierarchy Process. The weight assignment of 6 level-1are: clinical nursing practice 0.4611, critical thinking 0.1453,professional ethics 0.1386, professional development 0.0942,interpersonal skills 0.0804 and Management 0.0804.Conclusion To constructed Evaluation Index System of Core Competence for Respiratory Nurse Specialist preliminarily. The evaluation index system includes 6 level-1 dimensions, 24 level-2 dimensions and 65 level-3 items.To assign the weight of the level-1 and level-2 domain. |
