Objective:To investigate the expression of prostate stem cell antigen(PSCA) in peripheral serum among prostate cancer(Pca)、 normal prostate(NP)、benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)and its possible correlation with pathological grade and clinical stage of Pca.Methods: Selected from December 2014 to December 2015, confirmed by biopsy of the prostate in 46 patients with Pca and transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP) postoperative pathology confirmed for 30 patients with BPH as experimental group, and respectively before those they were taken for getting peripheral serums as a Pca and BPH groups, In addition, 10 cases normal prostate also were taken peripheral serum as NP group.Group of Pca, based on the Gleasson score divided into Gleasson < = 6, Gleasson = 7, Gleasson > = 8 three groups, according to clinical stage can be divided into limited(T1,T2) and progress model(T3,T4) in the two groups..Measured by ELISA using polyclonal antibody,PSCA in peripheral serum were determined. The differences of PSCA in peripheral serum were compared among BPH group 、NP group and Pca group. And PSCA expression level wether correlated with Gleasson score and the clinical stages in Pca.Results:As compared to BPH group and NP group, the Concentrantion of PSCA in peripheral serum of Pca group has significantly statistical difference(P < 0.001),but BPH group and NP group has no statistical difference(P > 0.05). In the Pca group, PSCA and gleasson score(r = 0.410, P < 0.01), PSA(r = 0.472, P < 0.01), the clinical stage(r = 0.896, P < 0.01) between all have significant correlationConclusion: Peripheral serum PSCA had a higher expression in the majority of prostate cancer, and low expression in prostate hyperplasia and normal prostate group. Peripheral serum PSCA may become a tumor marker for prostate cancer. Peripheral blood PSCA expression level in the prostate cancer group and clinical staging 、 pathologic stage have obvious correlation, and the higher the clinical stage and pathological grading, peripheral blood PSCA expression level is higher, so PSCA may have a certain value to prostate cancer diagnosis and prognosis judgment.
