ObjectiveTo investigate and analyze the drug law and prescription through collecting and sorting the records of outpatient who had been suffered chronic eczema and cured by Professor Xuan Guowei, the experience of Professor Xuan Guowei in the treatment of chronic eczema could be summarized in the study, and then provided the reference for clinical study.MethodsThe study collected 385 prescriptions from 101 outpatients who had been suffered chronic eczema and cured by Professor Xuan Guowei in Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital from January 2014 to December 2014. Then through analyzing and datamining the data of those prescriptions based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System, we could summarize the experience of Professor Xuan Guowei in the treatment of chronic eczema.ResultThrough counting and analyzing the 385 prescriptions,the results show ed that the data contained a total of 109 herbs, mainly included heat-cle aring herbs, tonifying herbs, exterior-releasing herbs and damp-draining he rbs. The most commonly used herbs among them were Licorice, Perilla leaf, Sa poshnikovia Divaricata, Radix Rehmanniae Recens, Glehnia littoralis, Cicada Slough, Poria Cocos,Cortex Dictam, Cynanchum paniculatum, Fructus Kochiae. In the statistics, it showed that the most Four Properties of those herbs wa s cold, mild, warm, and the most Five Taste of them was sweet, bitter and pun gent. The channel-tropism of herbs was mostly spleen, stomach, lung. From t he drug used frequency statistics result and association rules analysis, i t could be seen that the most central herb combination of prescription in Professor Xuan Guowei’treating chronic eczema was Glehnia littoralis, Li corice, Poria Cocos, Perilla leaf, Saposhnikovia Divaricata, Radix Rehmanniae Recens, Cicada Slough and Cortex Dictam. By entropy unsupervised Hierarchi cal Clustering algorithm, six new prescriptions could been founded.They in cluded 1:Schisandra chinensis,Ebony, Semen coicis, Radix scrophulariae 2:Ra dices stellariae dichotomae, Radices paeoniae alba, Rhizoma Dioscoreae Hypo glaucae, Radix scrophulariae 3:Smilax officinalis, Puccoon, Flos Magnoliae, C urcuma zedoary, Poria Cocos 4:Cortex acanthopanacis radici, Achyranthis bid entatae, Radix Rehmanniae Recens, Gentiana macrophylla 5:Buzhaye, Chinese Ya m, Puerarin, Cynanchum paniculatum, Fructus Kochiae, Sophora flavescens 6:Dan delion,honeysuckle, Chrysanthemum, lignum millettiae, Chinese violet, Radix P aeoniae Rubra.ConclusionThrough the analysis of clinical drug-use, it could been founded that Professor Xuan Guowei used the herbs flexibly and had a clear thinking in the treatment of chronic eczema. And also those medicines in the prescription were flexible, not sticking to formalities. The therapeutic methods of treating chronic eczema by Professor Xuan Guowei might be clearing heat, or expelling wind, or dispelling dampness, or invigorating spleen, or regulating Qi, or invigorating the circulation of blood, but the mainly treatment principles of them were expelling wind, clearing away heat and promoting diuresis. In the meantime, tonifying deficiency could also not been ignored.
