| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of San-huang Decoction in improving symptoms of cardiac toxicity causing by anthracyclines and to explore the machine-processed of San-huang Decoction from the theoretical and clinical studies.Method:30 postoperative breast cancer patients using anthracyclines in the chemotherapy matching the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups:15 cases of experimental group both using Dexrazoxane and San-huang Decoction; the control group with 15 cases using Dexrazoxane only. The therapeutical effects were evaluated one day before the chemotherapy and the day after the first, the second and the third chemotherapy end. Two groups were compared with qi-deficiency-blood-stasis syndrome rating scale, stress state syndrome rating scale, dynamic ECG, echocardiography, myocardial enzymes, troponin I and changes in hematology, liver and kidney function.Results:At the end of treatment, there were 15 valid cases in experimental group which can be calculated, and 15 in control group. The results showed that:1.The therapeutic effects of San-huang DecoctionTwo groups were compared with qi-deficiency-blood-stasis syndrome rating scale, stress state syndrome rating scale. The results showed San-huang Decoction can improve symptoms causing by the pathogeny of qi-deficiency-blood-stasis and stress.Two groups were compared with dynamic ECG, echocardiography, myocardial enzymes, troponin I. The results showed San-huang Decoction can improve the cardiac function of patients by adjusting the patient’s autonomic nervous system.2. Safety analysis of San-huang DecoctionTwo groups were both had tests in hematology, liver and kidney function. The results showed San-huang Decoction had no toxicity on hematopoietic system, liver and kidney.Conclusions:San-huang Decoction can improve symptoms of cardiac toxicity causing by anthracyclines in the methods of anti-oxidation and the therapeutic method of supplementing qi and activating blood circulation. |
