Objective:On the basis of replenishing qi and invigorate the spleen for diabetes mellites, analyzing the inflammations and oxidative stress in type 2 diabetes, to explore the effect of Pixu on the inflammations and oxidative stress in diabetesMethods:60 patients were selected in the standard of diagnose for type 2 diabetes,30 patients are type 2 diabetes with Pixu and 30 patients are type 2 diabetes without Pixu.Collect serum in a covered test tube, pancreatic amylase(P-AMY), high sensitivity c-reactive protein(hs-CRP), interleukin 6(IL-6), tumor necrosis fctor-alpha(TNF-a)were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), malondialdehyde (MDA) were measured by the method of thiobarbituric acid reaction (TBA), protein carbonyls(PCO) were measured by treatment with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH), which reacts with protein carbonyl derivatives to form stable hydrazones.Results:P-AMY and α-AMY in type 2 diabetes with Pixu were lower than that in type 2 diabetes without Pixu, the regional distribution of lower levels of P-AMY and α-AMY in type 2 diabetes with Pixu were more than that in type 2 diabetes without Pixu. The hs-CRP, IL-6, TNF-α, MDA, PCO in type 2 diabetes with Pixu were higher than that in type 2 diabetes without Pixu, the regional distribution of higher levels of hs-CRP, IL-6, TNF-a, either, on the target of IL-6, compaire with the two groups with diabetes mellites, P<0.01. MDA, PCO in type 2 diabetes with Pixu were more than that in type 2 diabetes without Pixu. the regional distribution of higher levels of MDA and PCO in type 2 diabetes with Pixu were more than that in type 2 diabetes without Pixu. Conclusion:Pixu may decrease the exocrine of pancreas, level of serum P-AMY and aggravate inflammation and oxidative stress in type 2 diabetes.
