Objective:to explore the risk factors of postoperative nosocomial meningitis in patients after posterior fossa craniotomyMethods:The clinical data of 43 patients with postoperative nosocomial meningitis after posterior fossa craniotomy were retrospectively ananlyzed and compared with 227 control patients without intracranial infection after craniotomy chosen from neurosurgery in our hospital during January 2013 to December 2015.A11 the risk factors were firstly analyzed with single factor analysis method. And the analyzed with multiple regression method (P<0.05)Results:Univariate regression analysis showed that age、ventricle external drainage、cerebrospinal fluid leakage、duration of the operation repeated operation remote site infection、drain of subcutaneously were risk factors for postoperative nosocomial meningitis in patients after craniotomy (P<0.05).The logistic regression analysis found that age、ventricle external drainage、 cerebrospinal fluid leakage、remote site infection were risk factors for postoperative nosocomial meningitis. The cerebrospinal fluid leakage have the greatest chance to lead to intracranial infection(OR=4.752、ventricle external drainage(OR=3.655)、age、0years(OR=3.319)、remote site infection(OR=2.805).Conclusion:Postoperative nosocomial meningitis in patients can be related with a single factor or multiple factors. But the age、ventricle external drainage、 cerebrospinal fluid leakage、 remote site infection were risk factors for postoperative nosocomial meningitis.
