Objective:To explor the hemostatic effects of TXA on postoperative in arthroscopic treatment of KOA.Methods:72 cases of knee osteoarthritis K-L Ⅲ or Ⅳ grades were treated by arthroscopic from December 2013 to March 2015,and all patients were randomly divided into two groups:the experimental group (n=37) and control group (n=35) The blood routine, D- dimer, body mass index, knee range of motion, Lysholm knee function scores and the value of knee VAS score (visual analogue score) were determined in pre-operative.The 20ml tranexamic acid sodium chloride was perfused to the knee joint cavity through drainage tube post-operative in the experimental group, and 20ml normal saline was perfused to the knee joint cavity in control group. Drainage tubes were clipped two hours and then open in two groups post-operation,the drainage liquid were collected in the 2,4,6 and 24 hours. The red blood cell count, hemoglobin, hematocrit of drainage liquid were examined on the 2,4 and 6 hours, and the venous blood of subjects were submitted to exaime. The blood routine,ESR, hCRP and the value of D-dimer were determined in 1st and 3rd post-operation. The knee circumference value were measured on the 1 st day in pre and post-operation, and the limb vascular ultrasound was measured on the 7 th day of pre and post-operation.The knee visual pain score (VAS) was measured on the 1st,3rd and 5th days of post-operation, and Lysholm knee function scores was examined on the 1st,3rd months post-operation.Results:Compared with the control group, the drainage liquid quantity were significantly reduced on the 2,4,6 and 24 hours post-operation in experimental group, and there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05), the red blood cell count, hemoglobin, hematocrit of drainage liquid was significantly higher on the 2,4 and 6 hours post-operation in the experimental group, and there were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05).The blood routine,ESR, hCRP and the value of D-dimer on the 1st and 3rd post-operation were no significant differences between two groups(P>0.05).The knee circumference value on the 1st day in pre and post-operation were significant differences between two groups(P< 0.05).Compared with the knee visual pain score (VAS) on the 1st,3rd,5th days post-operation,the VAS were significant differences on the 1st day between the groups (P<0.05),but the VAS was no significant differences on the 3rd,5th days post-operation between the groups(P>0.05).The deep vein thrombosis events was not occurred, and the Lysholm knee function scores on the 1st and 3rd months post-operation were no significant differences between two groups. Conclusion:The Tranexamic acid had the safety and efficacy in arthroscopic treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
