The Clinical Research Of Chronic Non-atrophic Gastritis (Deficient-cold Type) By Rad-hot Needle Therapy

ObjectiveChronic non-atrophic gastritis is one kind of inflammation of gastric mucosa, normally caused by multiple factors, like Hp infection, chemical substances, radio active substance and so on, it is known as a common disease, and a frequently-occurring disease. With the increasingly rapid pace of work and life, modern people pay little attention to their health conditions, more and more people are diagnosed with this disease, and the incidence of the disease tend to be a rise. Currently, conventional western medicine therapy aim to protect the gastric mucosa and try to relieve the relevant symptoms, mainly using gastro-kinetic agent to promote peristalsis of the stomach intestine, digestive enzymes to improve patient’digestion, mucosal protective effect help to protect the gastric mucosa. as everyone knows that there is no specific treatment methods in western medicine theory, while Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy receive more and more concern for the past few years, due to its extraordinary simplicity, security, effective, no side effects and inexpensive expenditure, TCM therapies has been an increasingly popular therapy, as we know, acupuncture and moxibustion is an important component of Traditional Chinese Medicine, basing on its unique Meridian and Collateral theory, dialectical treatment theory, acupuncture and moxibustion treatment obtains the exact effectiveness on treatment in Chronic non-atrophic gastritis at recent researches, according to its inexpensive expenditure of the treatment and no side effects, acupuncture and moxibustion treatment gains more recognition gradually. As one part of acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, rad-hot needle therapy, through the heated acupuncture needle stabbing the acupuncture point, act its unique therapeutical effect. To observe the clinical effect of the treatment by rad-hot needle therapy on Chronic non-atrophic gastritis (deficient-cold type) patients, we use the statistical analysis to analyze the changes on gastroenteric symptom, anxiety and depression symptoms before and after treatments. According to the statistical analysis, we provide clinical research materials and the basis for the use of rad-hot needle therapy on chronic non-atrophic gastritis (deficient-cold type).MethodsWe selected 60 eligible patients suffering from Chronic non-atrophic gastritis (deficient-cold type) in this study, and divided the subjects into two groups randomly, the treatment group (rad-hot needle therapy) and the control group (routine acupuncture therapy),30 cases in each group. Two groups accepted the same remedial points and the courses of treatments, that is to say, the course is two times a week, two weeks for a period of treatment, total two courses. The curative effect was evaluated by gastric TCM syndrome grade, Zung self-rating anxiety scale, Zung depression self rating scale before and after the courses.Results60 recruited cases were treated completely. No one was dropped out of the study. We integrally analyzed the 60 cases. Results are as follows:1.Before the whole treatment, there was no statistical discrepancy (P >0.05) between the two groups on age, sex, course of disease, gastric TCM syndrome total grade, grade of each individual symptoms, Zung self-rating anxiety scale, Zung self-rating depression scale.2. The total scores on gastric syndrome grade of the two groups was lower than before, the discrepancy was statistical significant between before and after treatment (P< 0.05), so both rad-hot needle therapy and routine acupuncture therapy are effective in improvement of the gastric symptoms. After treatment, the total scores on gastric syndrome grade of the the treatment group (rad-hot needle therapy) was lower than that of the control group (routine acupuncture therapy), the discrepancy was statistical significant between them, so rad-hot needle therapy has better function than routine acupuncture therapy on gastric syndrome total grade.3. The score on each individual symptoms of the two groups was lower than before, the discrepancy was statistical significant between before and after treatment (P<0.05), so rad-hot needle therapy and routine acupuncture therapy are significant for each Individual symptoms. The score on abdominal distension, noisy in the treatment group (rad-hot needle therapy) was lower than that in the control group (routine acupuncture therapy), the discrepancy was statistical significant between the two groups (P<0.05), however, there was no statistical discrepancy for the two therapies on epigastric pain, belching, acid regurgitation, stool abnormity (P>0.05).4. The scores on Zung self-rating anxiety scale, Zung depression self rating scale were both lower than before, the discrepancy was statistical significant between before and after treatment (P<0.05), so rad-hot needle therapy and routine acupuncture therapy can improve the condition of the anxiety and depression. There was no statistical discrepancy for the two therapies on the subjects’ anxiety (P>0.05). As to subjects’depression, statistical discrepancy existed (P<0.05), rad-hot needle therapy has better effect in subjects’depression.5. In terms of clinical total efficacy, the discrepancy were statistical significant between the treatment group (rad-hot needle therapy) and the control group (routine acupuncture therapy) (P>0.05). The treatment group. is better than the control group.Conclusion1. Rad-hot needle therapy can obviously improve patient’gastric syndrome who suffer from chronic non-atrophic gastritis (deficient-cold type), in terms of abdominal distension, noisy, the treatment group (rad-hot needle therapy) have better curative effect than that of the control group (routine acupuncture therapy), nevertheless, there was no discrepancy for the two therapies on epigastric pain, belching, acid regurgitation, stool abnormity.2. Rad-hot needle therapy can help patient’ spiritual outlook who is sick of chronic non-atrophic gastritis (deficient-cold type), in other words, rad-hot needle therapy contributes significantly to patient’ anxiety and depression state, in comparison to patient’anxiety state, patient’ depression state can get better effect.3. In terms of overall curative effect, the treatment group (rad-hot needle therapy) is superior to the control group (routine acupuncture therapy).
