Clinical Efficacy Observation Of Wen Yang Tong Luo Method In The Treatment Of Ankylosing Spondylitis On Han Shi Bi Zu Type Of Syndrome

Objective:Using this method of Wen Yang Tong Luo in the treatment of Han Shi Bi Zu type of syndrome,to observ the clinical therapeutic effects and security of Monkshood Cassia twig Admixture.Methods:According to the principles of random grouping, controlled trials,in the standard of 64 cases of Han Shi Bi Zu type of syndrome in patients with ankylosing spondylitis were enrolled and randomly divided into treatment group in 33 case and control group in 31 cases.Treatment group was given Monkshood Cassia twig Admixture combine with Sulfasalazine,control group was given Sulfasalazine.Both two groups were observed for 8 weeks.Observed before and after treatment in both groups the change of indicators of clinical therapeutic effects,just as BASDAI index, BASFI index, BASMI index, index of BAS-G, total points of TCM symptoms,morning stiffness,spondylalgia,ESR,CRP, and adopting Assessment in Ankylosing Spondylitis international Society(ASAS) guide to assess the curative effect evaluation;And observed before and after treatment in both groups indicators of safety just as blood routine, urine routine, stool routine test, ECG,liver and kidney function.Result:1. The treatment group ASAS20 and ASAS40, ASAS70 success rate were90.91%, 69.70%, 36.36%, control group ASAS20 and ASAS40, ASAS70 success rate are 67.74%, 41.94% and 67.74% respectively, to make a comparison of reach ASAS20 and ASAS40 standard bettween treatment group and control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); Treatment group compared with control group reached ASAS70 standard, there was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05).2. The treatment group BASDAI50 standards for success rate was 81.82%,58.06% in the control group, difference between the two groups was statisticallysignificant(P< 0.05).3. In treatment group the total effective rate was 96.97%, control group was67.74%,to make a comparison of the effect of TCM symptoms between two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4. Both groups can improve the total score of TCM syndromes, The Bath AS Disease Activity Index(BASDAI), The Bath AS Functional Index(BASFI), The Bath Metrology Index(BASMI), Bath AS Patient Global Score(BAS-G),morning stiffness,the patient and doctor evaluation of spondylalgia,ESR,CRP, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the treatment group is better than that of control group.Conclusion:1.Wen Yang Tong Luo method is an effective measure in treatment of ankylosing spondylitis.2.Monkshood Cassia twig Admixture is an clinical therapeutic effects and security in treatment of ankylosing spondylitis.found no adverse reactions.
