Objectives:The ophthalmic anesthesia postoperative children require ban drink 4 hours,6 hours for dinner, long time banned food has many adverse effects.Asking questions to Ophthalmic anesthesia for children to eat or drink after a reasonable time, searching and reviewed to the time of eat or drink under general anesthesia for children at home and abroad in recent years, aim to ensure the safety of children premise investigate ophthalmic surgery under general anesthesia for children the best time to eat or drink. To improve the comfort of children, promote the postoperative rehabilitation, and provide reference for the development of standardized postoperative ophthalmic children eating time.Methods:The method of convenience sampling, in March 2015 to October, a Jinan III-A-grade hospitals Eye Center treated 294 children under 6 years of age were studied, randomly divided into two groups according to coin toss method:acontrol group, using traditional feed children diet diet program to restore that children general anesthesia awake 4h water,6h eating liquid, starting from less, then gradually increase the amoun to the ordinary diet,the control group was total of 136 people. Intervention group, at the risk of side obtain informed consent, postoperatively bedside ECG equipment, suction devices, the responsibility of nurses use to assess fully awake after anesthesia in children as well as assessment of swallowing function of patients children get into personalized dietary guidance, set into personalized diet program, a total of 158 people in the intervention group.SPSS17.0 statistical software was used to analyze data, including descriptive statistical analysis, Chi-square test analysis.Results:1. The children after general anesthesia in the study age range between 27 days to 6 years old.2 years old to 6 years old children mostly, the time to eat or drink (plus postoperative and preoperative routine time) are 16 to 20 hours mostly. The intervention group age range of 3 months to 6 years old and more intervention, 91.1% of children in 2 hours after surgery can begin eating.2. There were no differences in the children after general anesthesia with demographic characteristics of age, gender, anesthesia, operative time (P>0.05)3. The children after general anesthesia in the intervention group and the control group was statistically significant in terms of children crying after 2 hours (P<0.05), abdominal distension, vomiting, fever, three aspect showed no significant difference (P> 0.05).Conclusions:1. The children after general anesthesia with different demographic characteristics of the control group and the intervention group was no difference, good homogeneity.2. The children after general anesthesia between earlier eating time which assessment of qualified and routine eating time in fever, abdominal distension, vomiting three difference was not statistically significant, no difference in the incidence of fever, abdominal distension and vomiting. Individualized programs on diet did not increase incidence of fever, abdominal distension, vomiting after general anesthesia.3. The children after general anesthesia between earlier eating time which assessment of qualified and routine eating time in children crying after 2 hours were statistcally significant difference,as early as eating a low incidence of children crying. Fasting time can lead to children crying. Shorten the fasting time can reduce children crying reaction after the operation.4.1ndividualized program of the time of eating and drinking meet the physical and psychological need of the chindren after general anesthesia.Individualized programs on diet shorten the forbidden drink time and provides.reference about drink fasting time for the children after general anesthesia.
