Adopting VBA To Compile Purchasing Software Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Currently, with the continuous reformation of our medical industry, the related industries have been developing rapidly, such as logistics and computer. The advanced management concept provided intellectual support for the efficiency improvement of the medical industry. However, there exists more difficulties in drug procurement and inventory management process for the wide medical varieties, different suppliers and drug administration level. So, how to make a reasonable drug management and purchasing model according to their own situation is a problem, which every hospital should solve.Through retrospective study and comparative analysis, compared with other hospitals, this study analyzed the shortcomings of the traditional Chinese medicine procurement process and procurement methods of our hospital. Besides, causal analysis method was used to find out the problem and further investigate of the issue. The study designed the new procurement model, improved procurement algorithm, and introduced market foresee and computer aided technology. To obtain a more scientific procurement method and objective purchasing quantity, through the analysis, reformation, inspection and improvement of old procurement model, finally improved the existing procurement model.The study is made up of four parts. The first part is an introduction, containing the background of the selected topic, the shortcoming in the purchasing process and method of our hospital, and the purchasing idea and method of the domestic and foreign relevant industry. The study seek problems existing with the application of causal analysis and then analyzes and improves problems. Finally, it puts forward ideas to solve problems.The second part is mainly about the fundamental theory of designing new drug purchasing process, including causal analysis method. prediction method and the PDCA cycle theory. Through causal analysis, we analyzed its own condition, requirement, shortcoming and target, computed the purchasing amount, and obtained the perfect process ultimately by using the above mentioned three theories.The third part is the research content of this thesis. The design principle, design goal and design process of the software were determined through the analyzing of our own condition and demand, and VBA programming. It was showed that the usage of the new software improved the drug purchasing work largely compared with the former condition. The software was further improved to make it suit the demand of traditional Chinese medicine procurement.The fourth part is the discussion section. The use of traditional Chinese medicine procurement software raised the procurement level, and showed the improvement direction employing PDCA cycle and impact on hospital drug administration.In conclusion, compared with the old procurement model, the study programmed a new drug purchasing software by introducing computer aided and forecasting technology and combinating causal analysis method with PDCA cycle theory. The study should improve management level over medicine in the hospital.
