Objective Measuring the changes of the acetabular inclination and version between supine AP pelvis radiographic imaging and standing AP pelvis radiographic imaging in total hip arthroplasty patients and some associated factors, such as pelvic obliquity, pelvic incidence, sacral slope, pelvic tilt, and so on. That may guide to place the acetabular cup during the operation. And that can help to reduce the post-operative complications and get a better clinical curative effect.Methods47 THA patients obtained supine AP pelvis radiographic imaging, standing AP pelvis radiographic imaging and standing lateral radiographic imaging. Measuring acetabular inclination, version, pelvic obliquity, pelvic incidence, sacral slope, pelvic tilt. And recording height, weight and other associated parameters. Using statistical methods to compare the change of the acetabular component inclination and version between supine AP pelvis radiographic imaging and standing AP pelvis radiographic imaging and related factors. Results The change of the acetabular inclination between supine AP pelvis radiographic imaging and standing AP pelvis radiographic imaging was 3.86°(P<0.05).The change of the acetabular version between supine AP pelvis radiographic imaging and standing AP pelvis radiographic imaging was 6.97°(P<0.05).Changes in version between supine AP pelvis radiographic imaging and standing AP pelvis radiographic imaging were associated with pelvic incidence(PI) and pelvic tilt(PT);and change of inclination were related to pelvic obliquity(PO).Conclusion There are changes in acetabular inclination and version between supine AP pelvis radiographic imaging and standing AP pelvis radiographic imaging after THA. These changes are related to some factors. That may guide pre-operative planning and help place the acetabular cup during the operation to get a better clinical curative effect and reduce the post-operative complications.
