Objective: To analyze the distribution and drug resistance of the isolated pathogens which isolated from the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from2012-2015 for guiding the clinical practice.Methods: The bacterial identification and the susceptibility testing were performed by means of VITEK-MS and VITEK-2 compact automatic identification system,and the susceptibility testing was supplemented by K-B disk diffusion method;the result was determined according to CLSI M100-S23,and the statistical analysis was performed with the use of WHONET5.6 software.Results: In the recent 3 years,1317 strains of the isolated pathogens were detected in EICU,the infection was mainly caused by gram-negative bacteria,accounting for77.1%,with gram-positive bacteria(21.3%) and fungi(1.6%),the dominant strains were Acinetobacter baumannii(25.4%),Klebsiella pneumoniae(13.7%); The respiratory tract(64.0%) is the most common site of the isolated pathogens infection,followed by blood infection(13.8%)from EICU. The drug resistance rate of Acinetobacter baumannii was over 50% to common antibiotics used clinically, The drug resistance rates of other common pathogens were also higher than the national average level.The detection rate of Multi-drug Resistance Acinetobacter Baumannii(MDR-AB) was 83.9%,the detection rate of the methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) was 58.6%.Conclusion: The drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in EICU becomes more sever,the disseminated multi-drug or pan-drug resistant strains poses a serious influence to clinical practice and implies the importance of strengthening infection control to control the resistance rate.
