Objective: To investigate the application effect and health economics of two different assisted reproductive techniques, sought to looking for a more economic and effective stimulate ovulation scheme for the poor ovarian response patients. Methods:A total of 37 patients of receiving IVF-ET from our hospital were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were sequentially treated with conventional stimulation protocol and the rear protocol of clomiphene.Comparison the clinical data, treatment outcome and health economic conditions of patients with two different schemes. Results: There were significant difference in the mean duration of gonadotropin(Gn), the mean dosage of gonadotropin(Gn), endometrial thickness on the HCG day, MII oocyte rate, normal fertilization rate, the mean available embryo, the mean good quality embryos and cycle cancellation rate because of the endometrium factors(P<0.05). There were no obvious differences in E2 1evels on the HCG day,the mean number of oocytes retrieved, cycle cancellation rate because of no embryo transfer and embryo implantation rate(P>0.05). The cost of treatment and cost of health and human resources in group conventional stimulation protocol were higher than group the rear protocol of clomiphene, such as the cost dosage and time of Gn and the more cost GnRH-a drug. Relative, the more cost in subsequent thawed embryos for the group of rear protocol of clomiphene. Conclusion: In treatment cycle for infertile patients with poor ovarian response, the rear protocol of clomiphene is considered to be an effective way of super stimulate ovulation.
